With a diverse background in nursing, occupational health and public health, Mariela brings extensive clinical and workplace experience to Huron. Her professional education and ongoing development include occupational health, mental health and wellbeing, infection prevention and control, and leadership, complemented by a strong interest in nutrition, fitness and healthy lifestyle practices.
As a bilingual healthcare professional fluent in English and Spanish, Mariela is committed to providing practical, accessible and include health and wellness services that meet the needs of diverse workplaces. This board perspective allows Huron to recognize the connection between physical health, mental wellbeing and a healthy workplace.
